This is a paid internship position for a fresh graduate or someone having 1-2 years of work experience. The internship is full-time over a period of 2 months.

Working under the supervision of the Consultant, the Analyst is involved in providing objective analysis and specialist skills with the aim of creating value and improving business performance of the clients.

Working under the supervision of the Consultant / Project Manager, the Associate Consultant is involved in providing objective analysis and specialist skills with the aim of creating value and improving business performance of the clients.

This is an Associate level position but a dynamic one, requiring commute / travel to the different clients’ sites. The primary role is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing the clients’ long-term competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable. Some of the main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing independently all stages of activities related to their projects
  • Setting priorities to achieve goals and objectives with high quality standard
  • Creating mechanisms to control structure of data and information
  • Doing research and collecting data in order to turn it into relevant information
  • Educating, communicating and informing clients about the services provided by the firm
  • Partnering with client teams in gathering data, devising alternatives and generating recommendations
  • Monitoring and supporting the progress of the work along with other team members
  • Structuring presentations and writing up reports
  • Communicating clearly and accurately with the team and clients
  • Reporting problems and raising suggestions about solutions to the immediate team leader
  • Giving support to more intensive work as per the projects demand

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • A degree in business or related field, preferably with emphasis in operations or supply chain
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Excellent academic credentials for university coursework
  • Experience in organization, operations, quantitative analysis and financial analysis
  • A good level of knowledge in operations, marketing, finance and data analysis techniques
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic (speaking and writing)
  • Proper time management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

The primary role is to make immediate contributions to enhancing the clients’ long-term competitive position and performance. To do this, the trainer is involved in designing and delivering highly interactive and first-class training sessions to professional managers and senior-level executives. The focus will be on a range of topics mainly associated with:

  • Inbound Logistics and Transportation
  • Shipping and International Trade
  • Warehousing and Inventory Management
  • Outbound Logistics and Physical Distribution

Compulsory Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in Logistics management or related
  • A post-graduate related certification
  • Minimum of 12 years prior working experience in the Logistics function
  • Prior experience in delivering training sessions
  • In-depth knowledge about the topics to be facilitated
  • Fluency in both English & Arabic

The trainer must have the below required skills:

  • Superior analytical skills
  • Outstanding presentation & facilitation skills

  • Purchasing and Procurement
  • Pre-Award, Award and Post-Award Processes
  • Sourcing, Tendering and Negotiation
  • Vendor Selection and Contracts Administration
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring

  • A master’s degree in Procurement and Supply management or related
  • A post-graduate related certification
  • Minimum of 12 years prior working experience in the Procurement function
  • Prior experience in delivering training sessions
  • In-depth knowledge about the topics to be facilitated
  • Fluency in both English & Arabic
